High-temperature structural steel for bolts, nuts, motor and machine components such as crankshafts, axles, spindles and gears.

 


Mechanical properties of 40CrMoV4-6, 1.7711 +QT:

  • Tensile strength, Rm 850-1000 MPa
  • Yield strength, Rp0,2: >640 MPa
  • Elongation, A: >14%
  • Necking, Z: >45%
  • Impact strength, KV: > 25J
  • Hardness: 250-300 HB

Heat treatment of 40CrMoV4-6, 1.7711 steel:

  • Annealing at a temperature of 680 - 730C
  • Normalization at a temperature of 880 - 900C
  • Annealing at a temperature of 830C
  • Annealing at a temperature of 900 - 930C
  • Normalization at a temperature of 650 - 720C
  • Stress relief annealing after hardening at a temperature of 200C
  • Stress relief annealing at a temperature 50C lower than tempering
